The Heat Press Operator is responsible for operating heat press machines to apply logos, graphics, or other designs onto sporting goods products. This role ensures high-quality and consistent application while maintaining safety and efficiency standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate heat press machines according to product specifications and work orders.

• Align and position materials accurately for pressing to ensure proper transfer of designs.

• Monitor temperature, pressure, and timing settings for each heat press cycle to maintain product quality.

• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of heat press equipment.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor immediately.

• Document production activities and maintain accurate records as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating heat press machines or similar equipment preferred.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust machine settings.

• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Familiarity with sporting goods or textile manufacturing is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and machinery.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Standing and moving for most of the shift.
