Job Overview
As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.  You will be required to travel as needed to assist trucks /drivers along roadways or at truck stops to troubleshoot and repair. 

Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and repair engine mechanical issues
- Inspect and test engines to identify malfunctions
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Collaborate with service technicians to address complex issues

Experience
- Prior experience in large truck repair

- CLASS A CDL LICENSE
- Knowledge of engines and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with tractor-trailers and heavy-duty vehicles
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to find root cause of mechanical issues and make appropriate repairs
- Understanding of shocks, struts, and other vehicle components
