Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Weatherford. 

 

  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications. 

 

Hours: M-F 6 AM to 2 PM, Sat 6 AM- Noon as needed

Pay per hour: $18.00-20.00/hr DOE

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections of welded areas to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick).
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and equipment maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
