We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain light-duty vehicles and diesel trucks. This position is primarily shop-based, with occasional field work as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong automotive background, solid diagnostic skills, and experience working with modern vehicle systems.
This role is well-suited for technicians who enjoy hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting electrical and engine issues, and working in a professional shop environment.
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, HVAC, and drivetrains
Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, inspections, brake service, and fluid services
Troubleshoot check engine lights, electrical faults, and drivability concerns using scan tools and diagnostic software
Repair and service light-duty vehicles and diesel trucks
Use tablets or computers to document diagnostics, repairs, and work orders
Identify required parts and tools to complete repairs efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Assist with occasional field repairs as needed
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of automotive technician experience
Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
Ability to independently diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Experience using scan tools and electronic diagnostic equipment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must have own basic automotive hand tools
Experience working on diesel trucks or fleet vehicles
Brake endorsement or ASE certifications (a plus)
Welding or fabrication experience (a plus)
Post-secondary training or certification in automotive technology
Automotive repair experience: 1 year (required)
Diesel or truck repair experience: Preferred
ASE Certification: Preferred
CDL: Preferred but not required
