Job Title: MIG Welder  

Pay: $22 an hour  

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team specializing in rebar and concrete-related products. This is a hands-on position requiring precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates with experience in welding for structural or construction applications will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on rebar and other metal components used in concrete construction.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Operate welding equipment and maintain tools in good working condition.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of metal structures.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder (construction or industrial setting preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Physical ability to handle welding tasks in a shop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with rebar and structural steel.
• Familiarity with concrete construction processes.
• Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
