Production Workers - All Shifts

Located in Fowlerville, MI

Salary: $18.00

Express Employment Brighton/Howell is assisting a premier automotive manufacturing company in Fowlerville, MI for experienced & qualified production workers. These production workers could be working in their assembly, molding, or paint line.

This is a full time, contract to hire role through Express Employment. Would have to complete phone interview and onboarding onsite that would consist of a drug test, background check & physical.

Pay rate: $18.00 hr.for all shifts! Once hired in, as it's a union company, pay will go up $21 hr.

1st shift - All departments are required to work 10-12 hours & weekends!
Assembly: 5:00am - 1:30pm or 3:30pm
Paint: 6:30am - 3:00pm, need to be open to working 4:30am - 3:00pm
Molding: 5:30am - 2:00pm

2nd shift - All departments are required to work 10-12 hours & weekends!
Molding: 1:30pm - 10:00pm
Paint: 3:00pm - 11:30pm or 1:30am

3rd shift - All departments are required to work 10-12 hours & weekends!
Molding: 9:30pm - 6:00am

Responsibilities:

• Keep all material and components properly identified and in their designated areas.
• Trim, flame, or make any other required adjustments to the raw parts.
• Install components as required with high quality standards.
• Load and unload product to and from carriers.
• Place product into designated containers according to customer specification and company procedures.
• Follows all applicable work and packaging instructions.
• Consistently inspect parts throughout the process to ensure defect free production.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
• Alert supervisor, manager or team leader if complications or defects occur with the parts.
• Document all activities as required.
• Provide support and maintain compliance with all company guidelines, union contracts, TS16949, ISO14001, and all applicable government regulations and standards.
• Any additional responsibilities deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in both a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.
• Upper body mobility is required along with the physical requirements of lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling.
• Must be able to stand 90% of the time with frequent walking.
• Lift using one or two hands up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional use of forceful abilities from 1 to 30 pounds during the duration of the shift.
• Own transportation & going to be reliable
• Read and write the English language.
