Machine Operator

Located in Smithfield , NC

Salary: $17/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate molding machines according to established procedures and work instructions
• Load materials and ensure proper machine setup for production runs
• Monitor machines during operation and make minor adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished products for defects and quality standards
• Record production data, scrap, and downtime accurately
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues to maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelines
• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
• Assist with mold changes and start-ups as required
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred (molding experience a plus)
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, or production schedules
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed
