We are seeking a hands-on and dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse and logistics operations in a busy packaging manufacturing environment. The role includes operating a sit-down propane forklift and manually handling materials such as steel and plastic drums. This is a dynamic position with varied responsibilities—you won’t be parked on a forklift all day.
Operate a sit-down propane forklift for loading, unloading, and staging materials
Pick and pull orders with accuracy
Process inbound and outbound shipments using UPS and WorldShip
Prepare shipments and maintain shipping documentation
Receive materials and inspect for accuracy and condition
Lift and maneuver steel and plastic drums safely (not exclusively a forklift role)
Communicate via email for logistics coordination and inventory tracking
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols
Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
Forklift certification or experience operating propane-powered forklifts
Familiarity with UPS systems and WorldShip software
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Basic computer and email communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
