Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical systems to support production and minimize downtime.

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including drive units, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, motors, plumbing, and power tools
• Utilize PC skills to troubleshoot machine functions and operating software
• Evaluate equipment for repairs, enhancements, or upgrades
• Perform and document preventive maintenance
• Order parts, coordinate with vendors, and manage parts inventory
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems
• Experience with conveyors, motors, power tools, and basic electrical wiring
• Familiarity with PLCs preferred
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to work in an uncontrolled industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. 

 

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
