Scale Clerk – Morris, ILPay: $18.00/hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role:We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scale Clerk to join our team. This position plays a key role in daily operations, handling truck scaling, data entry, and supporting light lab and office tasks. It’s a great opportunity for someone with strong computer skills who enjoys variety in their day and is open to learning and growing within the role.
Responsibilities:
Scale trucks in and out of the facility accurately and efficiently
Perform data entry in Excel and other computer software
Identify and record different plastic products using computer systems
Conduct light lab work, including sampling plastic pellets on the production floor
Answer phones and provide courteous customer service
Support office tasks such as record keeping and light reporting
Learn and assist with QuickBooks (potential future responsibility)
Qualifications:
Strong computer skills with experience in Excel and general software use
Detail-oriented with solid data entry accuracy
Comfortable working in both an office and light lab/production setting
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and adapt to a variety of duties
Prior experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not required
What We Offer:
$18.00/hour starting pay
Full-time, steady Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
