                                         Plant Screener Operator

                                            SHELBY MONTANA

 

                       Full time  - 8 hour Shift    - $18.00 / Hr.

 

Job Summary:

The screener is responsible for the safe operation of the screener in the production process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Document appropriate production log sheets.
• Follow specific work instructions for production process.
• Complete the pre-operational equipment check.
• Review the raw material and finished product.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
• Operates machinery in accordance with all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor gauge readings and make adjustments to gauges as necessary and/or at the direction of the Plant Manager or Assistant Plant Manager.
• Cleans and maintains the screener as necessary and at the direction of the Plant Manager and Assistant Plant Manager.
• Relays changes of information to appropriate management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate related machinery
• Ability to work independently, with limited oversight, and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with fellow employees.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a dusty manufacturing environment.
• High degree of Safety.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Or at least 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing.

Operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Prolonged exposure to temperatures ranging from 40-100 degrees.

Lifting more than 50 pounds
