MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

$20 per hour

Mon- Fri- 7am- 3:30pm

JOB SUMMARY

Maintain and repair educational facilities, trade equipment, and campus infrastructure. Ensure safe learning environment for students and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
• Service trade equipment (welding stations, automotive tools, training units)
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure code compliance
• Maintain parts inventory and document all work

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2+ years facility maintenance experience
Certifications: Valid TX driver's license, OSHA 10, Journeyman certification (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
Skills: Multi-trade background, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, 50+ lb lifting
