Express Employment Professional is recruiting a Patient Access Specialist for a local Cheyenne medical office. If you have a current MA or CNA Certification and have previous authorization experience call us today!

 

Pay: $17.00/hr DOE

 

Schedule: Mon.-Thurs. 7:30 am- 5:00 pm

              Fri. 7:30 am- 12:00 pm

 

MUST HAVE ACTIVE CNA OR MA CERTIFICATION

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtains precertification/preauthorization from insurance companies before each procedure
• Must request, obtain, and document (within current software) all prior authorizations or denials appropriately and in a timely manner regarding patient eligibility and coverage for the procedure
• Check status of pending authorizations
• Counsels patients pre-operatively regarding their potential financial obligations and provides information about patient insurance coverage
• Assists patients with setting up payment plans and collects payments due at time of procedure
• *Must have Prior Authorization experience*
