Salary: $27-$35
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed shop drawings, layouts, and construction documents for wood material
Develop design concepts and engineered solutions for custom fixtures, displays, and casework
Revise drawings based on feedback, value engineering, or production requirements
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, material capabilities, and tolerances
Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and installers
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation throughout project lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
2+ years of experience designing or drafting wood products, millwork, or casework
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software
Knowledge of wood products (plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers) and hardware
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
High attention to detail and accuracy
