Position Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a skilled Press Brake Operator for one of our top manufacturing clients. Although the position is set to begin in January, we are ready to welcome a qualified candidate sooner to allow for onboarding and hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and tear down press brake equipment for different production runs

  • Select and install appropriate tooling based on job specifications

  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately

  • Perform precise measurements and bend calculations using math and measuring tools

  • Ensure parts meet quality standards and dimensional accuracy

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment

  • Strong understanding of bend allowances, tooling selection, and material behavior

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and work orders

  • Familiarity with measuring tools: calipers, protractors, tape measures, etc.

  • Forklift experience is a plus

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
