Job Title: Porter – Day Shift Pay Rate: $24/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter to support daily cleaning and maintenance operations at our Commerce warehouse facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning and organization of the warehouse
Maintain and restock restrooms and break rooms
Check and maintain safety equipment (eyewash stations, spill kits, fire extinguishers)
Repaint safety lines (red/yellow) and install signage as needed
Respond promptly to spills and cleaning emergencies
Remove trash and debris from facility areas
Monitor inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and notify supervisor as needed
Support additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work day shifts and maintain a flexible schedule if needed
Reliable, professional, and able to multitask effectively
Committed to safety and cleanliness in all tasks
