Business Development Manager

Located in Addison, TX

Salary: $140-$190k Base

We have an Automation Engineering that's been around for over 40 years and is looking for someone to grow their company in the Southern US and will be a hybrid remote role based out of one of their TX locations (Austin, Dallas or Houston). The candidate will need to have a technical background in controls engineering and 10+ years of experience in Sales/BD in an industrial controls industry.

The BD Manager will be working closely with the Controls Engineering team, developing RFP responses with them and collaborating with them closely on a day to day.

Experience Requirements: 10+ years of BD/Sales in an industrial controls industry. Experience as a Controls Engineer prior is preferred!

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred)

Travel Requirements: Around 50% in the first year

Job Duties:

Sales/BD for clients in Southern US
Initiating opportunity development
Developing RFP Responses with engineering team
Collab w/ manuf suppliers & dist
Leverages technical knowledge of products.
Develops & present proposals
