We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable Pet Groomers to provide high-quality grooming services primarily for dogs, with the added benefit of experience grooming cats. The ideal candidate loves working with animals, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses excellent client communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Full Grooming Services: Perform all aspects of grooming, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, dematting, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and styling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
• Safety and Comfort: Prioritize the safety and comfort of all pets throughout the grooming process, adhering to humane handling techniques.
• Client Consultation: Consult with pet owners to understand their desired style and clearly communicate necessary steps, potential challenges, and post-grooming care.
• Facility Grooming: Provide scheduled grooming services for boarding dogs staying at our facility.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records regarding pet behavior, grooming notes, and any health concerns observed during the service.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area, including equipment and bathing stations.
• Cat Grooming (Bonus): Safely and effectively groom cats as requested (experience is preferred, but not required).

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Proven professional pet grooming experience (minimum 6 months).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in all breed standard cuts and familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment.
• Animal Handling: Demonstrated ability to handle dogs of various temperaments safely and calmly, including those who may be nervous or difficult.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Punctuality and Reliability: Must be reliable, responsible, and able to manage a schedule effectively.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift all size of dogs. Larger dogs we prefer 2 people to help.

Pay:  $15 hourly plus the opportunity to earn commissions and bonus, also tips!   

Schedule:  Full-Time, Days, Monday – Saturday
