Salary: $90,000 - $115,000/annually

The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca, NY is partnering with an Ithaca-area company to hire a skilled Controller for a Direct Hire role. The Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing all company financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and reporting. The Controller will work closely with the executive team to provide financial analysis and support to drive business decisions and will oversee the accounting department staff.

Qualifications:

- 4+ year degree in Accounting or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in accounting or related fields with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial data to executives and non-finance personnel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
