Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance / Facilities Helper to support daily maintenance operations in a hotel environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe facility, and can respond quickly to maintenance needs to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general hotel maintenance and facility upkeep

• Perform routine repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, and carpentry

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and inspections

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests

• Assist with room turns, furniture moves, and equipment setup

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage rooms

• Support exterior grounds maintenance as needed

• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or repair needs

• Assist with special projects and renovations as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical systems

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Good communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and kneel throughout the shift

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
