Material Handler (Box Truck & Forklift Driver)

Salary: $25.00/hr

We are seeking a Material Handler for our manufacturing company in Ayer, MA. This role is responsible to handle warehouse material movement, shipping, inventory control, and occasional local box truck deliveries in support of production operations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Material handling with a reach truck, shipping duties.
• When needed, handle box truck deliveries within a 150-mile radius, following safety, route planning, and documentation procedures.
• Pick, move, and stage materials using forklifts and warehouse management system.
• Supporting material transfers, inventory control, and production operations.
• Load and unload box truck safely
• Complete daily documentation and data entry accurately and on time.
• Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment in safe working condition.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and company quality standards.
• Maintain organized warehouse areas and ensure FIFO inventory practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of Reach Truck / materials handling experience in manufacturing
• 2+ years of experience driving a 26,000-lb. box truck.
• Valid MA Class D driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs regularly.

The hours are Mon-Fri 7:00AM-3:30PM. The pay rate is $25.00/hr with growth opportunities.
