Supervisor 2nd ShiftWell established, very successful union production shop is seeking an experienced Supervisor for the 2nd shift. Candidate must have at least two years experience as a hands on Foreman or Supervisor in a construction and/or heavy industrial environment. Must have construction, carpentry, skilled trades experience. Sheet metal experience a plus but not required.On a day-to-day basis, this person will be working with and supervising a team fabricating large HVAC industrial enclosures made from sheet metal. The job is in an industrial manufacturing environment and you will assist in a variety of areas where help is needed in the shop. You will apply all skill sets to aspects of building products. There will be plenty of training and guidance here and you will be working with lead men on builds who can help instruct if needed.Requirements:Must have skills utilizing hand tools (drills, impact guns, saws, tape measure, etc.)Must be able to read drawings and understand blueprints for fabrication purposesMust be comfortable working in a team-oriented environmentHave hands-on building or fabricating experienceMust be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that utilizes overhead cranes, forklifts, large industrial equipment, and fabrication equipmentAny experience with any facet of construction is desiredMust be a motivated, self-starterMust be on timeMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseWelding experience not necessary but a huge plus!Compensation based on level of experience and skill.
