Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Administrator to join our client in the Hamilton area. This role is vital in managing billing processes, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical and administrative skills, proficiency with Sage 300 software tools.

Duties

  • Manage and process billing using Sage 300 accounting software
  • Perform data entry with high accuracy for invoices, payments, and account updates
  • Maintain organized filing systems for billing records and client documentation
  • Handle front desk responsibilities including multi-line phone systems, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries and resolving discrepancies
  • Support administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing emails, and supporting office operations
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks and ensure all financial records are up-to-date
  • Support medical or dental office billing procedures if applicable, including verifying insurance information and processing claims
  • Maintain compliance with confidentiality standards and company policies

Skills

  • Proficiency in Sage 300, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and general computer skills
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with clerical tasks such as filing, proofreading, and document management
  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries via multi-line phone systems
  • Prior administrative experience in an office setting; medical or dental office experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and basic accounting practices
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in all work performed
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
