Plastic Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a hands-on Machine Maintenance Mechanic to support day-to-day repairs and upkeep at a well-established plastic injection molding company in Tigard. This role focuses on routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. The company manufactures plastic components for medical devices, electronics, automotive, and commercial applications and offers a fast-paced environment where you can put your skills to work right away.

Job Duties

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plastic injection molding machines
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain and service both older equipment and newer models
• Ensure idle machines are properly maintained and production-ready
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Document maintenance work and report equipment status
• Collaborate with production and maintenance staff to support daily operations
• Follow safety procedures and best practices when working on machinery
