Plastic Fabrication Technician

Overview

Looking for a skilled, hands-on role with a schedule that gives you more flexibility? We’re hiring an experienced Plastic Fabrication Technician to build custom plastic components, piping, tanks, and assemblies using specialized fabrication and welding techniques. Choose from multiple morning shift options and enjoy weekday time off for appointments, errands, and other commitments!

Duties

• Fabricate and weld plastic components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Work with materials such as PVC, polypropylene, PVDF, PEEK, and Teflon.

• Perform socket fusion, butt welding, heat bending, and adhesive bonding.

• Cut threads on plastic pipe and rod and operate manual mills and lathes.

• Read engineering drawings and bills of materials while measuring parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Assist with prototypes, communicate directly with customers, and travel to customer sites when needed.

• Train and support team members, identify material shortages or work order issues, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
