Material Handler

• Location: Stevensville, MI
• Position Type: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire
• Pay/Salary: $18.50 per hour to start
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday – Thursday 8:00 pm - 6:00 am                             
• Training 1^st Shift, Monday–Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm                                                                                                                                                      

 Responsibilities/Duties: 

• Locates materials and maintains a constant supply of proper materials per production order.
• Documents materials and supplies by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished parts for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product.
• Maintains material handling equipment by competing pre-use inspections, reporting necessary repairs.

 

Qualifications/Skills:

• Prior material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift Experience needed.
• Move finished boxes weighing 50-60 pounds to pallets.  May have to lift boxes overhead.
• Must be able to Train on 1^st shift then transfer to 2^nd shift.
