Warehouse Specialist / Reach Truck Operator

Salary: $22.00 / hour

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of frequent forklift operation experience, with specific experience operating a Reach Truck (MHE)
• Proven experience in order picking, material handling, or warehouse operations
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass a record check
• Strong team player with ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Reliable vehicle required for daily commutes, as public transportation is not a viable option

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Operate a reach truck and other material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Pick and pack orders, load trucks safely and efficiently
• Receive and inspect stock from suppliers, reporting any discrepancies
• Ensure accurate and safe loading of stock
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse through daily housekeeping tasks
• Identify and report product or bin sizing errors using designated forms
• Perform daily safety checks on material handling equipment and complete required forms
• Complete mandatory material handling training courses to ensure expertise and safety in equipment operation
• Other duties as assigned

Wage: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm with the possibility of overtime
