Inventory Specialist

Located in Durham, NC

Salary: $17/hr.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our inventory team. This role focuses on stocking, organizing, and maintaining accurate inventory levels while supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and organize inventory accurately

• Use inventory scanners and computer systems to track products (scanner experience preferred but not required)

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts

• Ensure inventory is stored in an orderly and efficient manner

• Operate a forklift as needed

• Follow safety procedures and company policies

• Assist with general warehouse and inventory tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Computer literate; comfortable using basic software and inventory systems

• Scanner experience is a plus but not required

• Basic math skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and critical thinking skills

• Willingness to operate a forklift (certification preferred but not required)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and stock inventory as needed

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
