Job Summary:Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Certified Drill Pipe Inspector for a reputable oilfield services company in Midland, TX. This role involves inspecting drill pipe and tubular goods to ensure compliance with API and DS-1 standards, helping maintain safety and operational reliability.
Responsibilities:
Perform visual and NDT inspections on drill pipe, BHA, tubing, and tubulars
Identify defects such as wear, cracks, corrosion, and damage
Use inspection methods including MPI, PT, UT, EMI, and visual thread inspection
Complete inspection reports and documentation accurately
Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current NDT certifications (MPI, PT, UT, EMI); ASNT Level II preferred
Experience with drill pipe/tubular inspection
Strong attention to detail and safety
Valid driver’s license; ability to work shop and field environments
Preferred:
Experience with API & DS-1 standards
Mechanical aptitude
