Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in coordinating production schedules, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring efficient workflow across various departments. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer demands and inventory levels using SAP and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality control teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and assembly processes.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to forecast material needs and optimize inventory levels.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor production progress, adjust schedules as necessary, and communicate changes effectively across departments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow data and recommending adjustments for efficiency gains.
- Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling activities, production plans, and process changes in compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in coordinating assembly operations, ensuring alignment with overall manufacturing goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with SAP, ERP systems, and MRP processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, process improvement techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, quality control standards, and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
