We are seeking an experienced Temporary HR Specialist to support Human Resources operations at our client’s manufacturing facility during an employee leave period.  This role will be highly hands-on, supporting a large hourly workforce and partnering closely with plant leadership to ensure consistent, compliant, and practical HR support.  The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and has experience balancing employee relations, compliance, and operational priorities on the plant floor.

This is a fully onsite role in Redmond, Oregon. 

What You Get to Do! 
•    Support the HR Manager in all aspects of the employee lifecycle for hourly and salaried employees, including onboarding and orientation
•    Serve as an HR point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding HRIS access, policies, attendance, leave, and workplace concerns
•    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, wage and hour, and leave regulations
•    Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS data
•    Assist with workers’ compensation claims, safety documentation, and coordination with safety teams
•    Support benefits administration and employee questions
•    Prepare reports, audits, and metrics related to headcount, turnover, and compliance
•    Support special HR projects as needed

What You Will Bring…
•    3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
•    Strong knowledge of HR practices related to hourly workforces
•    Working knowledge of wage and hour laws, attendance policies, and leave administration
•    Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems – Workday preferred
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively on the plant floor
•    High level of professionalism and discretion
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or SHRM/PHR Certification a plus
