We are seeking two motivated and professional Collections & Lead Generation Specialists to join our growing collections company. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for generating new leads from past-due accounts or potential business sources and contacting individuals or businesses to collect outstanding payments. When applicable, you will also negotiate and set up payment plans while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and customer service.
Identify, research, and generate new leads from client lists, databases, or external sources.
Contact individuals or businesses to collect on outstanding balances via phone, email, or mail.
Maintain accurate records of all communications, payments, and arrangements in company systems.
Clearly explain account balances, payment options, and consequences of non-payment in a professional manner.
Negotiate and establish payment arrangements or installment plans that meet company guidelines.
Follow up consistently on payment promises to ensure timely collection.
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation and collection goals.
Collaborate with the team to improve scripts, strategies, and overall collection processes.
Follow all compliance requirements, including FDCPA and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining firm and results-driven communication.
Previous experience in collections, lead generation, telemarketing, customer service, or related field preferred.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and with empathy.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Basic computer skills, including CRM or collection software proficiency.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
Full-time or part-time depending on company needs.
Base pay + commission/bonus structure based on performance.
