Job Summary: We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Hostess to support restaurant operations within a hotel setting. The Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests, managing reservations and seating, and supporting the service team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements
- Escort guests to tables and present menus
- Communicate guest flow and table availability with servers and management
- Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and presentable host stand and entrance area
- Answer guest questions regarding menus, hours, and hotel dining options
- Support servers and management during peak service times
- Follow hotel service standards, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: 7:00AM – 2:00PM | Five (5) Days A Week
- Pay: $15.00 P/H Plus Tips
Qualifications:
- Previous hosting, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and guest service focus
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
