Machine Operator

Salary: $20.00+ / hr

Are you mechanically inclined and experienced with machine operation? We’re looking for a dependable Machine Operator to independently operate production equipment while maintaining quality and production standards. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who understands machine tools, can read technical drawings, and is comfortable troubleshooting equipment and processes.

Job Summary

• Operate one or more machines while meeting production and quality standards
• Independently run assigned machines or part numbers within the department
• Assist with machine and tooling changeovers as needed
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain SPC charts, machine maintenance books, tooling logs, and other required documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining and process-related issues
• Perform operator-level preventative maintenance
• Properly care for and maintain equipment and perishable tooling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve machining processes

Experience Required

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience
• Ability to independently operate production machinery
• Working knowledge of machine tools and machining processes
• Experience using hand tools and precision measuring tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with basic machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance is preferred
