Salary: $22 - $23 per hour

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an experienced Cook for a retirement home located in Marysville, WA. Starting pay is $22-$23 per hour. This is a full-time, long-term position with various shifts available seven days a week.

Day shift is available typically working 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. - OR - 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

Must have a current Food Handler’s Permit and previous cooking experience that involves cooking from scratch and following recipes.

Cook Duties Include:

• Preparing meals for buffet service, box lunches, and made-to-order menu items
• Following dietary guidelines and resident preferences
• Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
• Assisting with inventory, food prep, and kitchen organization
• Supporting special events and holiday meals
• Communicating with servers and dishwashers to ensure smooth meal service
• Maintaining a clean and efficient work environment
