Job Description for Maintenance Tech:

We are seeking a Maintenance Tech for a Property Management company in Santa Monica.  As a Maintenance Tech, you will perform duties such as general maintenance/repair of several apartment complexes on the Westside.  Duties may include renovation work, carpentry, electrical and mechanical improvements and repairs.

Pay:  $23+ /hr DOE

Hours:  7a-4p, M-F

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Tech:

• Perform some renovation work including light carpentry, drywall installation, replacement of doors, locks, windows, and other fixtures including toilets, sinks, baths, showers, outlets and switches, cabinetry mounting, light demolition
• Perform simple electrical, light plumbing, and mechanical repairs
• Utilize power tools to fix and replace facility components and equipment
• Fix and patch any holes in the wall
• Maintain and safeguard all company tools and equipment

Requirements and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Tech:

• Follows safety protocols and procedures
• Takes pride in workmanship and working efficiently
• Dedicated to working on all jobs with efficiency and focus
• Interested in expanding knowledge and increasing job relevant skill sets.
• Reliable transportation (truck or SUV preferred, but not required)
