M-F 7:30am-4pm

We are seeking a Construction Auto CAD Detailer to create accurate shop drawings and submittals based on architectural plans and specifications. This role works closely with project managers, general contractors, and architects to ensure drawings meet project requirements, industry standards, and deadlines.

 

Construction Auto CAD Detailer Responsibilities:

• Produce shop drawings for sheet metal flashing, trims, metal roof/wall panels, and specialty items
• Use AutoCAD daily; Revit/BIM experience is a plus
• Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Research and compile product data and technical documentation
• Coordinate and track drawing revisions from project portals and FTP sites
• Assist with submittal packages, RFIs, and RFCs
• Perform QA/QC checks before submission
• Maintain organized project files and documentation

Construction Auto CAD Detailer Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, BIM, or Bluebeam a plus)
• 1–4 years of construction detailing or related experience, or equivalent education BA from a university.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
• Knowledge of sheet metal or metal panel systems preferred
