Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Service Technician for a local employer specializing in large vehicle maintenance and repair. This role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing specialized vehicle systems to ensure reliability and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical issues through visual inspection and computer diagnostics

• Perform repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance

• Test systems and components to verify proper mechanical function

• Conduct follow-up testing, including test driving vehicles when required

• Inspect vehicles to determine repair needs

• Complete service documentation accurately

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical repair knowledge and experience

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues

• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Certified Emergency Vehicle Technician required

• Heavy-duty truck repair experience preferred

• Three years of related experience preferred

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Ability to work safely in a noisy environment with various odors

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly

• Ability to bend, kneel, stretch, and stand for extended periods

• Good vision required for inspection and repair verification
