Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: January 1
Duration: Minimum 2 months (potential to extend)

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant for a temporary assignment in Uniontown, PA, starting at the beginning of the year. This role is ideal for a professional with strong accounting experience, particularly within the healthcare field. Experience in mental health accounting is strongly preferred. This position will support ongoing financial operations and may extend beyond the initial two-month timeframe based on business needs.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Perform general accounting duties, including reconciliations and financial reporting
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Assist with month-end and periodic closing activities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
• Handle sensitive financial and patient-related information with confidentiality

Requirements of the Accountant:

• Strong accounting experience required
• Healthcare accounting experience required; mental health experience preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Professional communication skills

Clearance Requirements:
All employees must successfully obtain:

• Child Abuse History Clearance
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Clearance (PSP)
• Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance
