CNC Lathe Operator

Located in Coventry, CT

Salary: $20-30/hr

CNC Lathe Operator | Direct Hire, Full-Time

Location: Coventry/Andover, CT area

Pay rate: $20-30/hr

Schedule:

• 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
• 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:25 pm to 1:45 am (must be able to train on 1st shift)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts to required specifications
• Load and unload materials and finished parts
• Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments as needed
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers
• Identify and report machining or quality issues
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of CNC lathe operating experience
• Basic understanding of CNC machining processes
• Ability to read basic blueprints and measurements
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work assigned shift and overtime as needed
