Shears Operator

Located in Rogers, MN

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a shears machine operator for our client in Rogers, MN. The right candidate will have solid forklift skills, with the ability to move materials around the warehouse and production environments safely. Prior machine operator experience is preferred, but candidates will be trained on the specific machine being used. 

 

Duties

• Operate sit-down forklift to safely maneuver materials 
• Lift large panels of sheet metal into the shears machine
• Safely operate the sheers machine to cut sheet metal to required size

Requirements

• Machine operator experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, lifting heavy materials as needed.
• Forklift experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work full time
• Ability to stand on feet all day long
• Ability to bend lift and twist
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Schedule

• 1st Shift
• Monday-Friday
• 6:00am-2:30pm
• Evaluation-to-hire

Pay

• $20.00-$22.00/hour, DOE
• Weekly paychecks every Friday
