A high-end moving and logistics company is seeking an Operations Manager to serve as the trusted right hand to ownership—owning daily operations and ensuring every customer receives best-in-class service.


What You’ll Do

As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the heartbeat of the business: people, processes, and execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize daily operational activities including crew scheduling, dispatch, warehouse logistics, and equipment readiness

  • Recruit, train, coach, and supervise movers and drivers to maintain high professional standards, safety compliance, and exceptional customer experiences

  • Act as the primary problem-solver for employee challenges, conflicts, and performance issues while maintaining accountability and morale

  • Design, implement, and refine processes that drive efficiency, quality control, and continuous improvement

  • Collaborate closely with ownership to align operations with business strategy, growth goals, and customer expectations

  • Monitor operational metrics and adjust workforce and asset allocation to maximize profitability and service quality


What We’re Looking For

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in moving, logistics, or field service operations management (white-glove or premium service experience strongly preferred)

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflict effectively

  • Process-oriented mindset with experience building systems that improve productivity and consistency

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a hands-on leadership style

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused small business environment

  • Comfortable partnering closely with ownership and taking ownership of outcomes
