Forklift Driver

Located in Tyler, TX

Salary: $17/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Forklift Driver to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely to move materials and equipment.
  
  

• Drive a 1-ton pickup truck for job-related tasks and deliveries.
  
  

• Assist mechanics by grabbing tools, parts, and materials as needed.
  
  

• Perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks in the shop or yard.
  
  

• Use heavy hand and power tools safely and properly.
  
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
  

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
  
  

• Clean driving record required (acceptable MVR with no violations).
  
  

• Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus (training available).
  
  

• Basic mechanical awareness or common sense required; mechanical inclination is a plus but not required.
  
  

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
  
  

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials.
  
  

• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  
  

• Able to work on feet for extended periods.
