Quality Inspector

Located in Tyler, TX

Salary: $18/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections based on assigned work orders or production batch numbers, identifying the specific lot or production run.

• Verify material and item details, including item numbers, supplier references, and required quantities to inspect.

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished goods for conformance to specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

• Document inspection results clearly and accurately in inspection reports and quality systems.

• Identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions per company procedures.

• Communicate inspection findings with production, quality, and management teams.

• Maintain organized records for traceability and compliance.

• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or quality-related training preferred.

• Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, production batch numbers, and material specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

• Knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) is a plus.
