Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Perform shipping and receiving duties.
2. Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
3. Responsible to make arrangements for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions.
4. Must verify packaging, labeling and inspect for damage on all incoming and outgoing product. Add
5. Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
6. Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of packaging & shipping materials on hand at all times. Change
7. Required to forward a requisition for packaging & shipping materials to the Department Supervisor for approval. Change
8. Operate forklift, overhead crane, manually operated lifting devices to load and unload trucks, move, transport, stack and store materials as needed. Add
9. Ability to accurately use measuring, weighing and counting scales. Add
10. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
11. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
12. Perform alternate duties of truck driver to transport product between buildings, make pick-ups and deliveries to our suppliers for parts and raw materials using the company truck, as assigned. Change
