Express Employment is working with a local Manufacturing company looking to add a HR Generalist focused on Recruiting to their team!
This role manages the full hiring process, conducts new hire orientations, supports HR programs, and provides exceptional service to employees and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and source candidates for all company locations
- Use electronic recruiting tools and social media to attract talent.
- Conduct new hire orientations, schedule pre-employment screenings, and complete reference checks.
- Maintain employee files, HR records, and HRIS data in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist supervisors and employees with timekeeping
- Support employee relations, benefits administration, training, and HR initiatives.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment laws.
- Build relationships with local employment agencies and participate in job fairs or company events as needed.
- Provide general HR support, prepare periodic reports, and participate in meetings or trainings to maintain HR knowledge.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment regulations.
- Experience with recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity a plus).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- BA/BS in HR or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
