Quality Control Employee - Distribution Warehouse

 

 

• 6:00am – 2:30pm or when the projects end for the day
• Monday – Friday
• OT as required by the company
• $22.00/ hour depending on experience
• Performance and attendance based wage increases

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Employee to join our Client’s distribution warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications before they are shipped to customers. This role involves inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting quality audits, and collaborating with team members to maintain a high standard of quality throughout the warehouse operations.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document inspection results and report any defects or discrepancies to the Quality Control Manager.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of quality control processes and findings.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that the warehouse is compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality control or warehouse operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using basic computer applications and quality control tools
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
