Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician for a company located in North Branch, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a hands-on environment.

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $25–$30
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly operations according to documented manufacturing procedures (BOM, assembly drawings, work instructions).
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings, BOMs, wiring schematics, and associated procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment for repair, including electrical, hydraulic, and structural components.
• Self-inspect and evaluate product quality before moving to the next step in the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and familiar with “wrench” type work.
• Ability to reason and make critical decisions.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts (training provided).
• Ability to work well in a team environment with strong communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs (cranes available for heavier lifting).
• Frequent bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
• Fine motor skills and dexterity for tool use.

Additional Details

• Must be willing to travel within MN for on-site repairs as needed.
• Equipment used includes overhead cranes, forklifts, and various hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, drills, impacts).
