Salary: $23–$26/hr DOE

Schedule:
• Part-time: 20–25 hours per week
• Hours of operation: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling within business hours

Position Overview:

• Support a fast-paced, well-established local accounting office during a busy tax season
• Ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who can step in with minimal training
• Best suited for someone with prior tax or seasonal accounting experience who enjoys staying productive and focused

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and support tax and accounting work with accuracy and efficiency
• Work confidently in QuickBooks, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting
• Answer phones and assist with general office and client-related accounting tasks

Requirements & Notes:
• Prior accounting and/or tax preparation experience required
• Strong QuickBooks skills — must pass a QuickBooks assessment prior to submission

• Minimal training expected — a brief refresher is available if it’s been a while
• Looking for a positive, reliable professional who meshes well with a small, busy team
