We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our educational institution as a full-time School Custodian. As a custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in classrooms, hallways, offices, and other areas of the school.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles on a regular basis.
• Maintain and sanitize restroom facilities, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, including desks, chairs, countertops, and windows.
• Assist in setting up rooms for events, meetings, and other activities as required.
• Monitor and maintain supplies of cleaning materials, toiletries, and other custodial inventory.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with other custodial staff and school personnel to ensure a cohesive and efficient cleaning process.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
