Job Title: Equipment Maintenance & Repair Technician

Location: Springfield, OH

Position Overview
The Equipment Evaluation & Repair Technician is responsible for evaluating multi-ton lifting and moving equipment condition, performing repairs, managing equipment and spare parts inventory, and coordinating with fabrication and repair partners. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong mechanical aptitude who can work independently, maintain detailed repair schedules, and build deep product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of knowledge of equipment and spare parts

• Perform equipment repairs in-house and at customer facilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and complete basic electrical repairs

• Evaluate equipment damage, repair needs, and warranty requirements

• Manage and document repair schedules thoroughly

• Coordinate with fabrication partners on custom projects
• Maintain tool inventory and organized storage

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD files

• Work closely with the sales team, customer service representative, and warehouse staff

• Operate a company vehicle for service and repair work throughout Ohio and surrounding states; occasional extended travel may be required

• Communicate effectively via email, Microsoft Teams, and internal systems and databases

Requirements & Experience

• Mechanical, machine, equipment, and/or electrical maintenance and repair experience

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; CAD experience is a plus

• Experience with inventory management and quality control

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

• Ability to measure accurately and use a wide range of hand and power tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Valid driver’s license
